Due to the tyranny of the urgent, last week’s sermon did not make it to the blog. My apologies on that, but as I’ve finished tomorrow’s blog tonight (but timed it tonight for tomorrow not tonight) I thought I might just throw in one sentence from last week’s sermon: The message was from Isaiah 60:
Arise, shine; for your light has come, and the glory of the LORD has risen upon you. For darkness shall cover the earth, and thick darkness the peoples; but the LORD will arise upon you, and his glory will appear over you.
And the punch-line from the sermon was: Do not let circumstances shake your confidence, let God’s Word shape your confidence.
Happy New Year and may it be marked by God-confidence!
